EVERGREENS
Black Hills Spruce - short needled, darker green and more dense compact growth habit than White Spruce. They grow to a height of 50' to 100'. Zones 2-7.

Colorado Blue Spruce - colors range from gray-green. These trees grow to a height of 115’. Does well in most types of soil. Zones 2-7.

Norway Spruce - fastest growing spruce. They grow to a height of 100’+. These prefer a moist soil for best results. They are sometimes called the weeping spruce. Zones 2-7.

White Spruce - medium to fast growing, peak height ranges from 40’ to 100’. Does well in group planting (i.e. windbreak). Zones 2-6.

Norway Red Pine - quick growing, long needle pine that is used for a multitude of construction purposes. This tree grows to a height of 70’ to 80’ and makes a good windbreak. They like sandy, well drained soil. Zones 2-6.

White Pine - another quick growing, long needle pine. This tree grows to a height of 100’+. They like sandy, well drained soil. Native to the northern states. Zones 3-8.

Scotch Pine - this tree is commonly grown for windbreaks, ornament and Christmas trees. They grow to a height of 70’. They like a variety of soils from loams to sandy. Zones 2-8.

Balsam Fir - the only fir native to the northern parts of the U.S. This is the desired Christmas tree because of it's aromatic smell and needle retention. Cool moist, well drained soil. is preferred. They grow to a height of 40’ to 60’. Zones 3-7.

Fraser Fir - a deep blue-green, soft needled tree with silvery undersides. Does best in cool moist, well drained soil. Tree grows to a height of 30’ to 50’. Zones 4-7.

We guarantee trees to be live and in good condition when they leave our nursery. However, it is impossible to guarantee planting results. Weather, soil conditions, insects and improper planting all play a part in successful growth. We do wish to please our customers, so if you do encounter any problems, give us a call. *All claims for deductions or error must be made within 4 days of receipt of shipment.
